Eve is our brown spotted/rosetted girl from Chris and Peter Edwards of Bramblewood and Silversafari Bengals. Chris very kindly alerted me to this lovely rufous girl in her litter when she heard I was looking for a breeding queen. I was struck by Eve's gorgeous rosettes and rich colour, as well as her very good ear set. She is dripping in glitter and Eve's rosettes are even on her belly! Eve's eye colour is a gorgeous green.
Eve is an affectionate and sweet natured bengal who has plenty of attitude, and will nicely balance Adam physically and in nature. Every time we have visited Eve at Bramblewood, she settled in our arms to fall asleep. She is a chatty girl, who does not like to be alone. She has grown tremendously in the past months and has become an ardent curtain climber. She also greets any visitors from our bay windows. She loves being groomed and we have taken her to shows, where she has achived a final at every show she has attended. She enjoys being judged at TICA where she often calls out to judges to get her out of her pen. She will be attending her first GCCF show soon.
Her coat is silky and short, and she seems to have inherited her rosettes from her sire Jumanji Shere Khan. She is a generous sized girl, who is very affectionate and likes to say hello to everyone and we look forward to her kittens with Adam this year. Eve is registered with both TICA and GCCF.
Kuki is our snow spotted/rosetted future breeding queen. She is a blue-eyed snow under GCCF, and a seal spotted lynx point under TICA. Kukiko is a Japanese girls' name meaning "of snow." I thought this appropriate as both of Kuki's parents are blue-eyed snow (seal lynx point).
Kuki has some wonderfully large rosettes that are impressively evident at this young age and a lovely depth of colour that continues to improve with time. She is also a substantial girl with a firm build, and her coat has a beautiful pelt-like texture. She is the disciplinarian of her group and makes sure they all behave.
Kuki is registered with both GCCF and TICA. We hope very much to take her to GCCF shows in 2008, particularly after June 2008, when snow spotted bengals will have championship status. We hope to see some typy snow rosetted kittens from Kuki in the next few months.
Kuki is currently running with Eve, her bestfriend and these 2 girls call in tandem, so will probably kitten together.
MIsix, is our future brown marbled breeding queen. MIsix was named so, because her mother is called Secrets.
MIsix is a playful girl who is very confident and it does not seem like we have just homed her, as she immediately settled and comes to us for love and fuss. She is a beautiful girl with a lovely temperament, I love her horizontally flowing marbling which has three colours. There is a 25% chance that MIsix carries blue from her parents, so look forward to seeing her first litter late this year. MISix is registered with TICA and GCCF and will be attending shows soon.
MIsix is currently running with Rosie her bestfriend.
Rosie is our brown rosetted/spotted future breeding queen from Kelly and Sarah of Kelsar Bengals. She is as friendly as she is striking. Rosie has jet back outlining to her rosettes on a pale golden background, the centers of her rosettes are a rich honey colour. She was well and truly in the fuzzies when she came to us and has cleared up tremendously to become a stunning girl with fabulous rosettes and a lovely pale but glittery base colour.
Rosie has also a fabulous temperament. She didn't swear even once all the way from Hessle to Birmingham, and spent her first night quietly exploring her new room, under my watchful eye. All she wants to do is play-a true testament to girls really do just wanna have fun!!
Rosie's rosettes have developed well, leaving her well defined striking coat in it's full glory. She also has lovely fat whisker pads. At the moment I am enjoying her sweet temperament as I keep trying to capture her rosettes on camera. She will make a fantastic ambassador for the bengal breed at shows.
We thank Kelly and Sarah for entrusting Rosie to us, and for raising Rosie with so much love, which makes her such a pleasure to live with. Rosie is GCCF and TICA registered.
Blizzie is our snow marble girl from Frances and Paul at Solargem Bengals. She is completely unticked and is huge. She has the thickest tail of all our bengals and a very plush silky coat. We hope she will be contibuting to our snow silver breeding programme.
Blizzie is a complete lady, who knows her mind and does not take any nonsense from other cats at all. She is loved up with Adam at the moment and she absolutely dotes on him. She is very affectionate and purrs and rolls around on her back when she knows she is going to be fussed. She is chatty and very communicative.
We would like to thank Frances and Paul for this little girl and hope to produce some marbled snow and snow silver kittens from her in future, but her first litter is sired by Korshki Back to the Future.
Blizzie is GCCF registered and TICA registered.
We thank Roger and Jenny at Tedith Bengals for another wonderful bengal to add to our breeding programme. This little girl is probably the most loving and friendly cat we have ever homed. She just loves to be fussed and is a constant purrer. She doesn't mind being picked up and handled. She is also a quiet cat, so a great bedroom companion, but does talk to tell us she's hungry or it's time to play.
We wanted to add Littlegem to our breeding programme as she has the most wonderful head inherited from her sire Sonny, and the shortest, rounded tail we have seen in a bengal. Her profile is to die for and we have the option of putting her to Stratus too for some very typy silver babies in future.
Littlegem is only 6 months old, and from our experience many changes in coat colour occurs before the coat settles to the colour it will remain in brown bengals, and we have no doubt she will darken to a rich colour, but the depth of colour of her markings should mean that she will not lose the definition of these if she does darken. We will be updating her pictures as she matures.
Gem loves being picked up and has a hug for everyone. She is very happy to be handled and likes nothing better than sleeping on a lap.
Gem has befriended Nugget. Gem is TICA and GCCF registered.
We are absolutely thrilled to have been entrusted with this beautiful silver snow girl from Sara and Stuart Kingston of Sarikakings Bengals. Fliss as she is known to her friends did very well as a kitten with TICA and was placed highly in finals at show.
She has a fantastic temperament and is very striking in person. She has a hug for everyone and is very friendly to strangers. We hope to put Fliss to Stratus in future in the hope of producing some silver snows.
We hope her good type and unusual colour will give us a good start in a new colour here at Ajooba.
Fliss will be both TICA and GCCF registered.
