SGCA Gradena Golden Nugget of Ajooba.
Nugget’s first show was the CatTICA show in Weston-Super-Mare, in November 2006. This was our first TICA show too. Nugget finaled in 3 out of four rings, he was awarded best cat in his final ring of the show. He gained two titles; Champion Alter and Grand Champion Alter. We gained friends and an addiction to TICA shows.
Nugget next went to the SpoTICAt show in Leicester, in December 2006. Here again he gained two titles: Double Grand Champion Alter and Triple Grand Champion Alter. It was a two day show and Nugget held up admirably considering he had only ever done a one day show once before. We were exhausted.
Next was the CatTICA show in Birmingham, in February 2007. He gained his Quadruple Grand Champion Alter title, and we realised for the first time that other people were rooting for him.
Nugget’s fourth show was the BCCGB show in Bracknell, in March 2007. He finaled but missed out on the coveted best cat placing and came 2nd. Nugget was barely bothered but we had our hearts in our throats.
Nugget’s fifth show was the SpoTICAt show in Bracknell in June 2007. He gained best cat at the end of a very long show on Saturday to become Supreme Grand Champion Alter, after most of our friends had gone home, so not many people saw this wonderful achievement-just like Nugget to be so understated!
We continue to campaign Nugget this TICA show season in hope of him achieving a Regional Winner’s title. Last show season 2006-2007, Nugget gained the position of 23rd best alter in the EN, and third best of breed Bengal alter, missing the top 20 and the RW title by three places. Fingers crossed he makes it into the top 20 this show season 2007-2008. Nugget won the BCCGB Best Brown Spotted Alter cup for the year 2006-2007.
We will keep our site updated with Nugget’s progress in the second half of this show season. Nugget will retire from shows in April 2008 and will be taking a training role for our new show hopefuls.
Nugget currently has 5000+ points after the NaturallyTICA show in February 2008 Show and is 22nd best alter in Northern Europe. We still have shows between March 2008 and 1st May 2008 to continue to accumulate points towards Nugget's potential regional title. There are no guarantees as there have been so many good alters being shown this show season, so we will have to keep showing and keep our fingers crossed.
TGCA Premier (tbc by GCCF) Wotmore Tinker Tagora of Ajooba.
Tinky has been shown with both GCCF and TICA. She has 4 ICs from GCCF and we hope to take her to more GCCF shows once brown marbled Bengals are recognised for championship. With TICA Tinky has gained her Triple Grand Champion Alter title in 3 shows. She often goes to TICA shows with Nugget and has been placed above him in division and finaled.
Tinky won second place in her Open Class at the Supreme Cat Show this year.
Tinky is one final away from her QGCA title with TICA, so we will be showing her in 2008 with hope that she achieves this final.
Tinky achieved first place in her open class and BOB as well as her first PC at the Somerset Cat Club Show on 7th June 2008, she also gained 1st place in a side class out of 5 other cats.
Tinky achieved her second PC and BOB at the Lincolnshire Cat Club Show on 12th July 2008.
Tinky achieved her third PC and BOB at the Bengal Cat Club Show on 26th July 2008. She also won the trophy for best brown marbled neuter and gained her Premier title.
CH Purebliss Quinoro Pearl of Ajooba.
Quin did well as a kitten under TICA, at his first show he flirted with
then speciality judge Francine Hicks and won his first final in her
ring. We still have the rosette signed by Francine on display which
reads "Quin's first rosette." He went on to his last show as a kitten
in June, where he won 7 finals, his best show.
Quin championed at the Gateshead Show in June 2007, he was up against all the other bengal adults at this show and we are very proud of this achievement. He always enjoyed the hotel stays and spent most of the nights away
"exploring." He also won the BCCGB trophy for the best seal marbled lynx point kitten in 2006-2007.
Quin also won 3 merits from the 3 GCCF shows he attended. He was to attend the Supreme Cat Show, but instead we put his comemorative frame in his pen. Quin passed away on the 7th October 2007, had he remained healthy and with us, we have no doubt he would have achieved much more.

Adam went on exhibition for his first show in Maidstone in September 2007, he was a couple of weeks too young to be shown, so instead was very vocal and made is presence known in the show hall!! His first proper show was the BCCGB show in Lutterworth where he finaled once. There were over 30 kittens being judged, so we were very pleased. Adam attended the ScanTICAlyclad show in Lincoln, for one day, but did not final.
Adam's third show was the CatTICA Halloween Show in Weston-Super-Mare in October 2007. He was more settled, but remained vocal (I like to think he was just getting in spirit with the theme of the show!) Adam finalled twice, once on Saturday and once on Sunday, in judge Thomas Anderson's ring, who went on to say he felt Adam looked the most like an Asian Leopard Cat of all the bengal kittens in his ring. He also said he felt Adam's wild look was the look of bengals in the coming show seasons. We hope to do justice to all the compliments Adam received from Thomas, by putting wild looking kittens on his judging bench next show season.
Adam's fourth show was the Spoticat's December show, Christmas Spirit, where is was far from his usual laidback self and was upset by the smells of other cats. Adam is also undergoing many hormonal changes associated with adolscence, but he still enjoys rolling around in my lap and being fussed. Despite his poor temper at the Christmas show he was still placed 3rd and 5th in colour in the rings we did show him in and considering the number an quality in the kitten class we feel very proud of Adam achieving these placings in the kitten class.
Adam is going through his adolescence, so we will give him a break while his hormones settle and he grows out of his "lanky" phase, after which we hope to bring him back to show.

Stratus is our silver marble boy. Stratus has been placed 1st in colour and divison in the last 2 shows he has been to and has even achieved 3rd BOB twice in the last show at only 5 months of age.
He has a superb profile which has been commented on by various judges and his markings are very striking. We hope this boy will win finals when he has a bit more weight on him and has finished teething.
Stratus won his first GCCF merit at the Somerset Cat Club Show on 7th June 2008, he also gained 2nd and 3rd place in his side classes.
Stratus won his second GCCF merit at the Lincolnshire Cat Club Show on 12th July 2008, he also gained a 2nd and 3rd place in his side classes. Well done Stratus, who is proving to be consistent in his show results.
Stratus won his third GCCF merit at the Bengal Cat Club Show on 26th July 2008, he won a Judge's choice rosette and also was the Best in Show Assessment Exhibit. He gained 2nd and 3rd places in his side classes.
Purebliss Kukiko of Ajooba
Kuki's first show the Shorthaired Cat Society Show in January 2008, where she achieved second place in her open class and 3rd and 4th place in her side classes.
Kuki's first TICA show was the Cattica February show in 2008. Here she achieved Best in colour in 3 rings and best of division in 2 rings, on the Saturday. On Sunday she achieved 4 1st best in colour placings. and best in division in 2 rings, 3rd best of breed and 2nd best of breed in 2 different rings and finalled as 9th best kitten in Francine Hicks' ring. She was well behaved and took the show well in her stride.
Kuki did very well at her second TICA show, the NaturallyTICA show at the end of February, where she finalled as second best kitten in Thomas Anderson's ring and best kitten in the same ring on Sunday. For once in my life, I was almost speechless!! We love this girl and hope to title her when she becomes an adult at 8 months with TICA and 9 months with GCCF.
Bramblewood Eve of Ajooba
Eve was very vocal at the show and managed to obtain 4th best in colour once on Saturday and 4th, 5th, 5th, 2nd, 2nd and 1st best of colour on Sunday and finalled as 9th best kitten in Edith Mary Smith's ring. Eve also got 2 second best of division and one best of division and best of breed.
We were delighted with her first show, she was well behaved and very interested with everything going on around her.
Eve was at show again at the NaturallyTICA show in February 2008, and finalled in Lisa Dickie's ring on Saturday, and won numerous best of colour, division and best of breed placings. We were very proud of her as these classes are very competitive.
